Cultural diversity is the lifeblood of our company. We are proud to count among our ranks workers from over 34 countries, each with their own unique set of experiences, perspectives, and skills.

Workers of Italian origin make up about 63% of the total, while the remainder consists of workers from European Union countries (2%) and non-EU countries (35%).

This richness of backgrounds creates a dynamic and multicultural work environment, where differences are celebrated and valued.

Attention to the safety and health of workers is therefore an essential feature of our corporate culture, which is expressed through the adoption of a systemic approach to risk prevention and management.

This approach integrates continuous staff training, investment in cutting-edge technologies, constant monitoring of working conditions, and the promotion of a corporate culture in which safety is a shared responsibility.

At Gruppo Mastrotto, the growth and development of people are nurtured through a series of professional training programs, providing employees with the skills and resources necessary to excel in their roles and advance in their careers.

Training needs are planned through the involvement of managers and the human resources department, identifying the topics to focus training activities.

In 2023, the main training areas focused on worker safety and health, administration and finance, language, and management skills.

Free oncological prevention examinations

In November 2023, Gruppo Mastrotto offered its female employees free breast cancer prevention exams directly in the workplace, an essential service dedicated to the prevention and care of women's health.

Over three hundred female workers from Arzignano and Chiampo had the opportunity to undergo a mammogram and a breast ultrasound within the company's premises, where a mobile clinic equipped with state-of-the-art tools was set up.

The initiative was repeated in March 2024.

A renewed and participative corporate welfare

At the beginning of 2022, as part of the People, Next Level project dedicated to employee well-being, the Gruppo Mastrotto Welfare launched its Welfare platform, allowing access to goods and services under particularly advantageous conditions.

The portal offers employees a wide range of opportunities, allowing them to customize their benefits package according to individual and family needs.

The Welfare portal reached a 96% participation rate among potential users in 2023.

The work and social inclusion project
The work and social inclusion project

For Gruppo Mastrotto, inclusion also means promoting the values of acceptance, conflict and value of diversity. 

For this reason, the company has devised a social and work inclusion project dedicated to disabled persons of working age, with particular attention to Down syndrome. A project that established a production department that assembles leather samples Gruppo Mastrotto’s Express service.

The department, in which five collaborators now work, has reached a level of productivity that makes it sustainable, allowing disabled people to achieve personal and professional fulfillment by interacting constructively with the company and their colleagues.
