The exploitation of scraps, driven by innovation.
We have made sustainability and respect for the environment the driving force behind our constant innovation. Every one of our leathers reflects our commitment to responsible production, in which ecological awareness becomes an intrinsic element which enhances the beauty and improves the quality of our creations. Today, by transforming production scraps into a valuable resource, we prove that sustainability, elegance and style can and must coexist.
01.
REVIVA
REVIVA is a patented material based on the reuse of finished leather scraps. By ennobling scraps in compliance with a logic of circular economy and upcycling, we have succeeded in creating a new product with excellent potential for customisation, destined for all those fashion brands which have placed sustainability at the centre of their journey.
The name originates from the idea of giving “new life to leather” and contributes to the tanning chain, bringing it closer to a situation of Zero Waste Production, alongside the reuse of process by-products destined to become components of bio-stimulants, fertilisers, cosmetics and nutraceuticals.
02.
RENOVA
RENOVA is another material that comes from the scraps of finished leather, cut at the end of the manufacturing process. These scraps, divided according to the colour of the backing, are milled and finished to obtain a material that can be used in the interior design and nautical sectors.
RENOVA guarantees endless possibilities for customising the grains during the finishing process. It is available in panels measuring approximately 140 x 140 cm, with a natural or black backing colour, which guarantee excellent cutting and processing.

OTHER REGENERATED MATERIALS
At Gruppo Mastrotto, we develop various articles from materials recycled and recovered from the tanning process, with possible applications in all target sectors. The aim is to transform leather scraps into an ethical and quality alternative to synthetic materials.
