The cover story of the Satra Bulletin of March 2014 is focused on the Italian footwear industry and on the best players of the whole supply chain. The following is an abstract from the article (Satra Bulletin, March 2014, pp. 6 – 14): “Having traded for more than 55 years, Gruppo Mastrotto now employs more than 2,000 staff around the world. The company supplies bovine leathers into numerous industries, including footwear, furniture, leathergoods, automotive, nautical and aviation. This is done from seven manufacturing plants and five logistic facilities in Italy, as well as production plants in Brazil, Indonesia and Tunisia.”
