The first steps
A story that began in 1958
Gruppo Mastrotto was established in the late 1950s, in what would later become the famous Italian tanning district, Arzignano.
It was the brothers Santo and Bruno, with the support of their father Arciso, who set up a company that was destined to become a point of reference in the tanning industry. Driven by their passion for leather and a desire to achieve excellence, the two founders laid the foundations for what is now one of the most important global players in the industry.
Between past and future
A journey between innovation and tradition
From the first experiences in the tannery of the founders, Bruno and Santo, through to the present day with the second generation, led by Chiara and Graziano, that of Gruppo Mastrotto is the story of a family. A family characterised by the solid bond between passion and courage, qualities that have enabled the company to grow and consolidate over time thanks to its ability to think outside the box, constantly looking to the future.
From the founding of the first tannery - named Aurora to symbolise the dawn of a new entrepreneurial journey - to the creation of Gruppo Mastrotto Express, the world's largest logistics hub of leather ready for delivery, every stage of the company's development has testified to its ability to constantly anticipate market demands. Solidarity is another distinguishing feature of the Mastrotto family, tangibly shown by the donation of medical equipment to local hospitals and the activities of the Silvana and Bruno Foundation.
