Gruppo Mastrotto recounted through the shots of the “The Perfect Tannery” exhibition
Gruppo Mastrotto has again chosen to sustain the ties between culture, enterprise and local area by taking part directly in the “The Perfect Tannery” project, an original photographic exhibition dedicated to the tanning district of Arzignano and which will be hosted in the Atipografia premises from 15 October to 18 December 2016.
The lenses of Stuart Franklin (London, 1956) and Mark Power (Harpenden, 1959), great masters of contemporary photography and members of the famous Magnum Photos, have captured and represented the almost 60 years of the Group’s business activity. A two-dimensional journey which recounts, thanks to the talent and experience of the two famous photographers, on the one hand the company’s industrial history and the technological processes adopted to satisfy market demands, and on the other, the vast assortment of leather colors and textures which distinguishes the broad range of Gruppo Mastrotto products.
The exhibition also highlights the strong evolution undergone over the years by tanning company production and organizational processes: as in the case of Gruppo Mastrotto Express, the one-of-a-kind prompt leather delivery service, which has given life to the largest leather logistics hub in the world. The exhibition will be opening on Saturday, 15 October in the premises of Atipografia, a nonprofit association for the promotion and development of contemporary culture in Arzignano (Vicenza).
